Pratyasa Ray Awarded Ekalabya Puraskar 2024 for Swimming Excellence

In a remarkable recognition of her talent and hard work, swimmer Pratyasa Ray has been honored with the esteemed Ekalabya Puraskar for 2024. The award celebrates her exceptional achievements in both national and international swimming competitions over the past two years.

The award ceremony, organized by the Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), took place on Sunday in Bhubaneswar. Pratyasa was presented with a citation, a trophy, and a cash prize of Rs 7 lakh, acknowledging her dedication and significant contributions to the sport.

In addition to Pratyasa, the event also recognized other outstanding athletes, including sprinter Dondapati Mrutyam Jayaram and badminton player Tanvi Patri, who were awarded citations and cash prizes of Rs 1.5 lakh each for their commendable performances.
