Odisha Launches ShaktiShree App, Internship Guidelines

Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday launched the ‘ShaktiShree’ mobile application and unveiled a comprehensive internship guideline book aimed at strengthening higher education in the state.

The initiatives were introduced during a two-day national workshop held in the presence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.

The newly launched ShaktiShree app is designed to enhance safety, accessibility, and support systems for girl students across higher education institutions in Odisha. Officials said the platform will provide critical resources, improve communication, and ensure a more secure academic environment for female students.

Alongside the app, the internship guideline book seeks to standardize and expand opportunities for students, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and industry exposure. The move is expected to improve employability and practical skills among youth in the state.

The state government emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader vision to modernize Odisha’s education ecosystem and create a more inclusive and student-friendly learning environment.
