Pradhan termed the apprehensions over Odisha’s revenue loss unfounded and argued that the amended law would promote transparency, industrial growth, infrastructure development and employment while safeguarding the State’s economic interests.

Odisha Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan has called for an integrated and sustainable agriculture-horticulture model in the Chilika Assembly constituency. He stressed crop diversification, promotion of local products such as Banpur moong, coconut cultivation, cold storage, organic farming and better utilisation of water resources to improve farm productivity and farmers’ incomes.
