BJD flags Odisha-Chhattisgarh disparity in paddy farmer registration window
The Biju Janata Dal has criticised the Odisha Government over the limited window for paddy procurement farmer registration, alleging disparities with neighbouring Chhattisgarh. Former Deputy Speaker Sanjay Dasburma sought an extension of the deadline to September 20, citing flood-related disruptions, technical hurdles, e-KYC issues and difficulties faced by sharecroppers.
