Odisha Launches E-Detection System for PUCC, Insurance Violations
Odisha has launched an e-detection system to identify vehicles plying without valid Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC) and insurance. Activated from September 1, the system will automatically generate e-challans against violators under existing rules and electronic enforcement procedures.

Odisha has climbed from 13th to seventh position nationally under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, emerging as one of India's fastest-growing rooftop solar markets. The state has recorded 1.74 lakh installations against more than 3.12 lakh applications, with the conversion rate rising from 37.1 per cent to 53.4 per cent.
