Odisha CM Launches ‘Ama Shasana’ to Seek Public Feedback on Schemes

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday launched ‘Ama Shasana’ (Our Governance), a new public service initiative aimed at directly engaging with citizens and gathering feedback on the implementation of various government welfare schemes.

The initiative was inaugurated at Lok Seva Bhawan in the presence of several ministers and departmental secretaries. Alongside, a dedicated portal — www.amashasana.odisha.gov.in — was unveiled to enable citizens to share their opinions and suggestions on the functioning and effectiveness of different programmes.

Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Majhi said the state government is committed to making governance people-centric. “It is not just an initiative but the government’s firm resolve to bring governance to every village and connect with the people,” he stated.

Officials said Ama Shasana will serve as a bridge between the administration and the public, ensuring better delivery of welfare measures while strengthening transparency and accountability.
