Indian Racing Prodigy Atiqa Mir Impresses in Slovakia, Finishes Fourth

Ten-year-old Indian racing sensation Atiqa Mir narrowly missed out on a podium finish, securing an impressive fourth place in round 4.1 of the Champions of the Future Academy (COFTA) karting series here.

Atiqa, who dominated much of the action-packed race, displayed remarkable race craft and determination, putting herself in contention for victory before finishing just shy of the top three.

Earlier this month, she had claimed victory in the DAMC series in Dubai, further cementing her status as a rising star in international karting. Atiqa is also the first Indian to receive support from Formula 1 and is a part of the F1 Academy DYD program, which nurtures young racing talent globally.

Her consistent performances are attracting attention from the top brass of the F1 Academy, marking her as one of India’s most promising young motorsport talents.
