Wendt (India) Focuses on Product Innovation, Customer Acquisition to Drive Growth
Wendt (India) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of abrasives and precision components under the Murugappa Group, has reiterated its commitment to product development, customer acquisition, and strategic pricing initiatives to boost its business growth, the company announced in its annual report released Sunday.

The company reported robust performance in its Super Abrasive segment, with total sales reaching ₹140.54 crore in the previous financial year — a 7% increase compared to the previous year. Domestic Super Abrasive sales also witnessed a healthy 9% year-on-year growth.

To sustain this momentum, Wendt (India) plans to identify and onboard industry-specific distributors across key overseas markets, particularly in the automobile, steel, and engineering sectors, where demand for Super Abrasives has seen notable growth.

“The focus will remain on developing new products, acquiring new customers, and implementing price correction measures to ensure sustainable and profitable growth,” the company said.

The firm also emphasized its intention to enhance its global presence by expanding its distribution network in international markets that have shown consistent demand for high-performance abrasive solutions.

Wendt (India), headquartered in Bengaluru, continues to position itself as a key player in precision engineering, catering to a diverse customer base across domestic and global industrial segments.
