Sunny Deol Set to Make OTT Debut After ‘Gadar 2’ Success

Riding high on the phenomenal success of Gadar 2, veteran Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has revealed plans to venture into the OTT space with a couple of streaming projects in the pipeline.

The 67-year-old actor, who made a powerful comeback with the 2023 sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, said he is excited to explore a new chapter in his 42-year-long film career.

“I’m doing a couple of projects for OTT,” Deol shared, adding that the new medium would allow audiences to enjoy his work beyond the big screen. “This way, people can watch my work on more than one platform,” he said.

Best known for his intense action roles in films like Ghatak, Arjun, and Damini, Deol has long been a fan favorite for his strong screen presence and powerful dialogues. His recent return to cinema with Gadar 2 proved to be a massive box office hit, reviving his popularity across generations.

Currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film Jaat, Deol hinted that his foray into streaming platforms marks the beginning of a fresh phase in his acting journey—one that will blend his legacy with contemporary storytelling styles.
