Sudarsan Pattnaik Creates Sand Art Wishing Team India Luck for 2nd ODI
Puri, Feb 9 – Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has crafted a stunning sand sculpture at Puri Beach, Odisha, wishing “Good Luck Team India” ahead of their 2nd One Day International (ODI) match against England at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on Sunday.
The six-foot-high sculpture, made using five tons of sand, features two bats adorned with the flags of India and England, symbolizing the cricketing battle. Pattnaik’s students from his Sand Art Institute also contributed to the creation, showcasing their artistic skills and support for the national team.
Pattnaik, a Padma awardee, has represented India in over 65 international sand sculpture championships and festivals, earning numerous accolades for the country.
As cricket fever grips Odisha, Pattnaik’s artwork at Puri Beach stands as a tribute to the sport and a heartfelt wish for India’s victory in the much-anticipated clash.
