Odisha BJP: Delhi Rejected AAP Govt

Odisha BJP Chief Hails Delhi Poll Verdict as ‘People’s Rejection of AAP’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal on Saturday claimed that the people of Delhi have outrightly rejected the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), expressing their dissatisfaction with its governance. Addressing party workers and supporters, he stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) resounding victory in the national capital marks the end of AAP’s rule and a fresh beginning for Delhi.

Samal termed BJP’s win after 27 years as a “historic moment” and asserted that it was a result of growing resentment against the alleged corruption and governance failures of the AAP government. “The victory of the BJP symbolises the explosion of discontent against the corrupt AAP government. Delhi was neglected for 27 years, and development was at a standstill,” he said.

The BJP’s electoral triumph in Delhi has sent a strong political message, reinforcing the party’s commitment to governance and development, Samal added. Odisha BJP leaders and supporters gathered in Bhubaneswar to celebrate the victory, expressing confidence that the party’s influence will continue to grow across the country.

The election results have intensified the political discourse, with the BJP hailing its win as a mandate for good governance, while AAP has yet to formally respond to the claims made by opposition leaders.
