Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam is scheduled to visit Odisha in January, marking a significant milestone as Singapore becomes the first overseas partner for the state’s flagship investor summit, the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.

Simon Wong, the High Commissioner of Singapore to India, announced the development during a meeting with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the state secretariat, Lok Seva Bhawan, on Tuesday.

An official release noted that the partnership is expected to enhance bilateral investment opportunities and strengthen ties between Odisha and Singapore in sectors like technology, trade, and infrastructure.

The Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 is envisioned as a platform to showcase Odisha’s business potential and attract global investments for sustainable development.
