India drives Coca-Cola global volume growth

India Boosts Coca-Cola’s Global Volume Growth

Beverage giant The Coca-Cola Company reported a 3 per cent growth in global unit case volume for the January–March quarter of 2026, with India emerging as one of the key contributors.

The Atlanta-headquartered firm posted a 12 per cent rise in net revenue to USD 12.5 billion during the first quarter, driven by strong performance in major markets including China, the United States and India.

Despite contributing to overall volume growth, the company highlighted that the Indian market saw a decline in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) segment, which includes categories such as fruit juices, energy drinks, sports beverages and dairy alternatives.

The mixed performance underscores India’s importance as a growth market for Coca-Cola, even as certain beverage segments face demand challenges.
