India Men Dominate Tunisia at World TT Championships

The Indian men’s team began their campaign at the World Team Table Tennis Championships on a strong note, registering a comprehensive 3-0 win over Tunisia, while the women’s team was awarded a walkover on Tuesday.

Manush Shah gave India a solid start by defeating Essid Wassim 3-1 (11-5, 9-11, 11-3, 11-5). He was followed by Manav Thakkar and Harmeet Desai, who both secured straight-game victories to seal the tie convincingly.

The dominant performance ensured India a perfect opening in the tournament, with all players showcasing control and consistency.

Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team progressed without playing, receiving a walkover in their opening fixture.
