Punjab to Build Three Exhibition Centres

Punjab to Set Up Three Exhibition Centres to Boost Industry: CM
The Punjab government will establish three major exhibition centres in the state to strengthen industrial growth and provide a platform for businesses to showcase their products, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Saturday.
Speaking during interactive sessions with industrialists at the ongoing Progressive Punjab Investment Summit in Mohali, Mann said the initiative aims to address the lack of large exhibition infrastructure in the state. He noted that the absence of such facilities has limited opportunities for industries to display their products and innovations.
The Chief Minister congratulated participants at the summit for actively engaging in discussions on key economic and industrial issues affecting Punjab. He said the state government is committed to creating a business-friendly environment and strengthening the industrial ecosystem.
Mann emphasized that establishing dedicated exhibition centres would help promote trade fairs, business expos, and industrial showcases. This, he said, would not only support local industries but also attract investors and entrepreneurs from across the country and abroad.
The proposed centres are expected to provide modern infrastructure for exhibitions, conferences, and trade events, giving manufacturers and businesses a much-needed platform to connect with buyers, partners, and global markets.
The announcement comes as part of the state government’s broader efforts to accelerate industrial development and position Punjab as a key investment destination in India.
