PM Modi to Address Civil Services Day

PM Modi to Address Civil Services Day Programme on April 21
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address civil servants on the occasion of the 17th Civil Services Day on April 21 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event, scheduled for 11 AM, will also witness the Prime Minister conferring the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration.

Civil Services Day is observed every year to acknowledge the vital role played by civil servants in nation-building and governance. Prime Minister Modi has consistently encouraged civil servants to remain committed to the cause of public service, embrace innovation, and strive for excellence in their administrative duties.

This year, 16 awards will be presented in the categories of Holistic Development of Districts, Aspirational Blocks Programme, and Innovation. These awards aim to recognize exemplary contributions made by civil servants for the welfare of common citizens and for promoting good governance and efficient service delivery.

The Civil Services Day celebration provides a platform for civil servants to share best practices, learn from each other’s experiences, and renew their resolve towards serving the nation with integrity and dedication.
