President Droupadi Murmu Extends Greetings on the Eve of Easter
President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, extended warm greetings and best wishes to the citizens of India, particularly the Christian community, on the eve of Easter. In her heartfelt message, the President highlighted the significance of the sacred festival, which celebrates the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ.

Calling Easter a symbol of selfless love, service, and sacrifice, President Murmu emphasized the values that the life and teachings of Jesus Christ embody — renunciation, forgiveness, truth, justice, and compassion. “The sacred festival of Easter commemorating resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, conveys a message of selfless love and service.
