PM Modi Shares Self-Written Garba Song ‘Aavati Kalaya Madi Vaaya Kalaya’ for Navratri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared a Garba song, ‘Aavati Kalaya Madi Vaaya Kalaya,’ written by him as a tribute to Goddess Durga, in celebration of the auspicious Navratri festival. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to singer Purva Mantri for delivering a melodious rendition of the song, which he shared on the social media platform X.

In his post, PM Modi highlighted the significance of Navratri, a time when people across India come together in devotion to Maa Durga. He added that the Garba song was his homage to the goddess, symbolizing her power and grace. Sharing his sentiments, he wrote, “In this spirit of reverence and joy, here is #AavatiKalay, a Garba I wrote as a tribute to Her power and grace. May Her blessings always remain upon us.”

The Prime Minister further posted in Gujarati, echoing the sentiments of devotion: “On this sacred occasion of Navratri, people are celebrating in various ways. With similar reverence, I wrote a Garba titled ‘Aavati Kalaya Madi Vaaya Kalaya.’ May Maa Jagdamba’s endless blessings always be with us.”

PM Modi also thanked Purva Mantri, a talented emerging singer, for her rendition of the Garba, which has been widely appreciated by listeners.
