Pariksha Pe Charcha Sets Registration Record

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Sets Guinness World Record with Over 3.5 Crore Registrations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has achieved a historic milestone by securing a Guinness World Record for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” The recognition was awarded for the record-breaking 3.53 crore valid registrations received during the 8th edition of PPC, held earlier this year through the MyGov platform.

The official Guinness certificate was presented at a special ceremony in New Delhi, attended by senior Union Ministers including Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Shri Jitin Prasada, along with Secretary Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum, and other key stakeholders. The award was officially adjudicated and announced by Shri Rishi Nath of the Guinness World Records.

A Festival of Learning

Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown into a global platform where PM Modi directly engages with students, teachers, and parents. The initiative promotes a stress-free examination environment by turning the exam season into a celebration of learning and self-growth.

Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan hailed the recognition, stating that under PM Modi’s visionary leadership, PPC has transformed the way India approaches examinations. He highlighted that over 21 crore people viewed PPC 2025 across various platforms, showcasing the country’s shared commitment to holistic and inclusive education.

Trust and Participation in Amrit Kaal

Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw praised PPC as a unique initiative that fosters wellness and a positive learning culture. He remarked that the record-breaking participation reflects the immense public trust in the programme and the opportunities now available to students in this Amrit Kaal.

Echoing the sentiment, Union MoS Shri Jitin Prasada commended MyGov for using technology to deepen citizen engagement. He noted that this achievement is a testament to India’s evolving digital governance landscape and its outreach capabilities.

Reinventing Education Through NEP 2020

The initiative also aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes joyful, experiential, and stress-free learning. PPC has become a movement that shifts the exam narrative from pressure to purpose, offering real-time advice on time management, digital distractions, emotional resilience, and mindfulness directly from the Prime Minister.

With its wide reach, inclusivity, and focus on participatory governance, Pariksha Pe Charcha continues to inspire millions. The unprecedented success of PPC 2025 marks not just a record-setting achievement but also a significant step toward building a Viksit Bharat—a developed, educated, and empowered India.
