Odisha CM Orders Crop Damage Assessment Report by Dec 30

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has instructed agriculture officials to submit a comprehensive crop damage assessment report by December 30 to facilitate financial assistance for farmers affected by unseasonal rains.
In a high-level meeting to review the situation, Majhi emphasized the need for swift action, stating that farmers across the state have suffered significant losses due to rains since December 20.
The Chief Minister assured that once the report is received, assistance funds would be directly credited to the bank accounts of the affected farmers to provide immediate relief.
