Odisha Assembly’s Winter Session to Begin on November 26

The Odisha Legislative Assembly’s 30-day winter session is set to commence on November 26, as per a notification issued on Wednesday. The session will address key legislative business, including the presentation of the Supplementary Budget for 2024-25.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also oversees the Finance Department, will present the Supplementary Budget on the session’s opening day. According to the schedule, the Appropriation Bill will be tabled on December 5.

The assembly will also conduct in-depth discussions on demands for grants, which are scheduled for December 2, 3, and 4. This winter session is anticipated to cover important financial and policy issues, with robust discussions expected on various state matters.
