Nestle India Q2 profit drops 17%

Nestle India Q2 Profit Falls 17.4% to ₹743 Crore Despite 11% Revenue Growth
FMCG major Nestle India Ltd on Thursday reported a 17.37% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹743.17 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, as per a regulatory filing.
The company had registered a profit of ₹899.5 crore in the same period last year.
Despite the dip in profit, Nestle India’s revenue from operations grew 11% to ₹5,630.23 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹5,074.76 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The company attributed the revenue growth to continued momentum across key product categories, supported by strong domestic demand, even as higher input costs and inflationary pressures weighed on margins.
Nestle India, known for brands like Maggi, Nescafé, and KitKat, said it remains focused on innovation, cost efficiency, and expanding rural reach to sustain growth in the coming quarters.
