Nation Salutes Indian Army on Army Day: Rajnath Singh

Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh on Wednesday extended his greetings to Indian Army personnel and their families on the occasion of Indian Army Day, paying tribute to the force’s indomitable courage, supreme sacrifice and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and integrity.

In a post on X, the Defence Minister said the nation salutes the Indian Army for its steadfast vigilance along the borders and its resolute role during times of crisis. He noted that the Army has earned global respect through its professionalism, discipline and humanitarian service.

Rajnath Singh reiterated the Government’s commitment to building a modern, Aatmanirbhar and future-ready Army capable of meeting emerging security challenges. He said a grateful nation stands united in pride and respect for its soldiers and their families, acknowledging their selfless service and dedication to the nation.
