Modi’s Diplomacy Deepens India’s Global Reach

Modi’s Five-Nation Tour Marks New Era in India’s Global Relations: BJP

New Delhi, July 10 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent five-nation diplomatic visit has been hailed by the BJP as a landmark achievement, marking the beginning of a new era in India’s global outreach—strategically, culturally, and economically.

Addressing the media, BJP national spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi described the tour as “highly productive and successful,” with the Prime Minister visiting Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia.

Dr. Trivedi outlined three key takeaways from the visit. First, PM Modi firmly asserted India’s position on terrorism during the BRICS summit, stating that “perpetrators and victims of terror cannot be equated.” This strong diplomatic stand, he said, reinforced India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism on the global stage.

Second, the tour strengthened India’s economic engagement with resource-rich nations such as Ghana and Namibia. Agreements signed with these countries are expected to ensure access to vital minerals and metals, securing India’s long-term economic interests and resource needs.

Third, the tour deepened India’s cultural and emotional ties with the global Indian diaspora. Highlighting the visit to Trinidad & Tobago, Trivedi noted the heritage of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who traces her roots back to Buxar in Bihar. “This emotional and social connection has added a new dimension to India’s soft power,” he said.

Dr. Trivedi concluded by emphasizing that the tour reflects India’s growing cooperation with Africa and the Global South, positioning the country as a key international player across multiple fronts.
