Local Golfers Dominate US Kids Golf Indian Championship

Local golfers showcased remarkable skill and determination, making a clean sweep of titles at the US Kids Golf Indian Championship held at the Classic Golf and Country Club in Manesar on Saturday. Despite challenging weather conditions, the young players delivered creditable performances, impressing spectators and officials alike.

Among the boys, Nihal Cheema, Drona Singh Dhull, and Prince Bainsla emerged as standout performers, while in the girls’ category, Naaysha S Sinha, Gairat Kaur Kahlon, and Shiksha Jain claimed top honours.

Due to a delayed start and insufficient daylight, the Tournament Committee reduced the final round for all sections to nine holes, but the change did not affect the competitive spirit or the high quality of play.

This fifth edition of the championship highlighted the growing talent and depth of junior golfers in India, signaling a promising future for the sport at the national level.
