Shaurya Bhattacharya Takes Lead at Asian Tour Q-School
Indian golfer Shaurya Bhattacharya surged to the top of the leaderboard at the Asian Tour Qualifying School after shooting an impressive five-under-par 66 on the A&B course on Saturday.
With this performance, Bhattacharya moved to 16-under-par, securing a one-shot lead and positioning himself strongly to claim one of the 35 cards available for next year’s Asian Tour season.
Japan’s Tomohiro Ishizaka, the overnight leader, carded a matching 66 but sits in second place, while Mexico’s Roberto Lebrija trails by just one shot in third.
The Qualifying School remains highly competitive, and Bhattacharya’s strong round demonstrates his focus and skill under pressure as he aims to secure his spot on Asia’s premier professional golf circuit for the upcoming season.
