India Thrash Namibia 13–0 in Junior Women’s Hockey World Cup Opener

India made a roaring start to their Junior Women’s Hockey World Cup campaign with a dominant 13–0 victory over Namibia on Monday, powered by hat-tricks from Hina Bano and Kanika Siwach.

Hina (35′, 35′, 45′) and Kanika (12′, 30′, 45′) led the scoring with three goals each, showcasing India’s attacking prowess on the world stage. Sakshi Rana added two goals (10′, 23′), while Binima Dhan (14′), Sonam (14′), Sakshi Shukla (27′), Ishika (36′) and Manisha (60′) also found the net in the one-sided contest.

Displaying complete control from start to finish, the Indian team overwhelmed Namibia with pace, precision and relentless pressure. The victory propelled India to the top of their pool standings, giving them a strong early advantage in the tournament.
