All-Party Delegations to Showcase India’s Unified Stand Against Terrorism: MoS Pabitra Margherita
Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita on Saturday emphasized that all-party delegations sent to various countries will highlight India’s national consensus and firm stance against terrorism in all its forms.
Speaking at a ‘Meet the Press’ event in New Delhi, Margherita reiterated India’s commitment to combating terrorism and projecting unity on the global stage. He recalled being in New Zealand on May 7, coinciding with the launch of Operation Sindoor, and expressed pride in India’s decisive actions.
“Like the 1.4 billion people of India, I felt immense pride hearing about Operation Sindoor while I was in New Zealand,” Margherita said. “I salute the Indian Army for successfully dismantling terrorist bases, the unity of our people, and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this strong and resolute step.”
Operation Sindoor refers to recent security operations aimed at eradicating terrorist infrastructure, underscoring India’s resolve to protect its citizens and maintain regional stability.
The minister stressed that these delegations will project a consistent message internationally about India’s united and unwavering approach to terrorism, reinforcing its position as a responsible global actor committed to peace and security.
