Indian Culture, Food Shine at Riyadh Season’s Global Harmony Initiative
Saudi Arabia has launched the Global Harmony initiative as part of its Riyadh Season, spotlighting India’s rich cultural heritage alongside various other nations. The event, running from October 13 to 21 at Al-Suwaidi Park, brings together a vibrant array of performances, cuisine, and traditions from participating countries.
Artistes and celebrities from India, including cricketer S Sreesanth, are representing the country’s diverse culture. Indian food, traditional music, and dance forms are on full display, reflecting the depth of India’s heritage. The initiative, organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media, aims to promote the diverse lives of the kingdom’s residents, many of whom hail from countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, and more.
The event also fosters cultural exchange, with people getting the opportunity to experience not only India’s traditions but also the heritage of several other nations, making Riyadh Season a true celebration of global unity.
