India Energy Week 2026 to Be Held in Goa

India Energy Week 2026 to Be Held in Goa from January 27–30
India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 will be held in Goa from January 27 to 30, bringing together global ministers, industry leaders, policymakers, financial institutions, academia and technology providers to deliberate on energy security, investment and decarbonisation at a critical juncture for the global energy sector.
As the first major international energy gathering of the year, IEW 2026 will focus on strengthening energy security, catalysing investments and advancing practical and scalable pathways for clean energy transition. The event is expected to attract participants from over 120 countries, further reinforcing its status as one of the world’s leading energy dialogue platforms.
Hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and dmg events, the conference will serve as a neutral forum for global cooperation on energy affordability, sustainability and resilience. Delegations from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region are expected to participate.
According to the International Energy Agency’s World Energy Outlook 2025, India is projected to account for over 23 per cent of global incremental energy demand by 2050. Against this backdrop, IEW 2026 will spotlight India’s reform-driven energy framework, which balances economic growth, climate responsibility and consumer protection.
The event will also highlight India’s progress in clean energy initiatives, including ethanol blending, biofuels, green hydrogen and sustainable fuels. Discussions will cover infrastructure expansion, energy security, price stability and consumer protection, along with emerging low-carbon technologies and digital transformation.
Over four days, IEW 2026 will feature ministerial roundtables, CEO dialogues, public–private sector interactions, technology showcases and a large-scale exhibition spanning the entire energy value chain. With expanded participation and global representation, the event is expected to play a key role in shaping international energy cooperation and policy alignment in the coming years.
