India Emerges as Global First Responder: PM

India Always First Responder in Global Crises: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reaffirmed India’s commitment to global humanitarianism, stating that the country has consistently emerged as a “first responder” in times of international crises.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating the Shanti Shikhar Centre for Spiritual Learning and Meditation of the Brahma Kumaris in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister said India’s actions on the world stage reflect its philosophy of compassion, cooperation, and collective progress.
“Whenever a crisis arises anywhere in the world today, whenever a disaster strikes, India steps forward as a reliable partner to provide help. India is always the first responder,” Modi said, highlighting India’s swift assistance in natural disasters, evacuations during conflicts, and supply of medicines during global health emergencies.
The Prime Minister also underlined that India’s development model rests on the growth of its states. “Our government’s mantra is to ensure the nation’s progress through the development of every state,” he said.
Modi lauded the Brahma Kumaris for their contribution to promoting inner peace and moral values, adding that centres like Shanti Shikhar would help nurture a culture of spirituality and service in society.
The event witnessed participation from spiritual leaders, dignitaries, and followers of the Brahma Kumaris movement, who welcomed the Prime Minister’s message of unity, peace, and proactive global engagement.
