‘Housefull 5’ Crosses ₹200 Crore Mark at Domestic Box Office

Akshay Kumar’s comedy blockbuster Housefull 5 has struck gold at the box office, grossing ₹212.76 crore across India, the film’s producers confirmed on Saturday.

The fifth installment in the popular Housefull franchise, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandez, continuing the ensemble-driven, slapstick comedy formula that has become synonymous with the series.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Dostana filmmaker Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 has proven to be a major crowd-puller, reinforcing the franchise’s box office clout.

The production house announced the film’s milestone earnings on social media platform X, celebrating the movie’s ₹212.76 crore domestic gross.

Released nationwide to packed theatres and strong initial buzz, Housefull 5 has benefited from a loyal fan base and the festive timing of its release, which contributed to its rapid climb past the ₹200 crore mark.

With its blend of humour, star power, and high-energy entertainment, Housefull 5 is now one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year.
