Free UPSC coaching for Kalahandi aspirants

Civil Services Aspirants in Kalahandi to Get Free Coaching Under ‘Mission Akankhya’

In a major boost to the career dreams of civil services aspirants in Odisha’s Kalahandi district, the administration has launched a new initiative titled Mission Akankhya to provide free coaching every year.

An MoU for the programme was signed on Independence Day between the Kalahandi district administration and New Delhi-based coaching institute Vision IAS. The agreement was inked by Vision IAS vice-president Deepali Chaturvedi and Kalahandi Collector Sachin Pawar.

Under the scheme, a select group of students will be chosen annually and trained free of cost for the highly competitive Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations. The initiative is part of Vision IAS’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Announcing the mission, the district administration said the programme aims to empower talented youth from the region who often face financial and infrastructural barriers in accessing quality coaching. Collector Sachin Pawar expressed hope that the move would inspire more young minds from Kalahandi to join the country’s administrative services and contribute meaningfully to society.
