ED Attaches Fresh ₹581 Crore Assets in Case Against Reliance Group

The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday said it has attached fresh assets worth more than ₹581 crore as part of its ongoing investigation against companies linked to Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani.

According to the agency, a provisional attachment order was issued on March 11 under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 as part of its probe into alleged financial irregularities involving Reliance Home Finance Limited and Reliance Commercial Finance Limited.

The ED said the attached assets include land parcels located across several states, including Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The total value of the attached properties is estimated at ₹581.65 crore, the agency said in a statement.

The action is part of the ED’s ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering linked to financial transactions and loan disbursements involving the two companies, both part of the Reliance Group.

Officials said further investigation in the case is underway.
