Kamal Haasan, Sonu Sood, Adnan Sami Pay Tribute to Wg Cdr Namansh Syal

Tributes poured in from across the country after Wing Commander Namansh Syal of the Indian Air Force lost his life in a tragic crash at the Dubai Air Show on Friday. Syal, a native of Himachal Pradesh, was flying the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas during an aerial display when the aircraft went down.

Prominent film personalities, including actors Kamal Haasan and Sonu Sood and singer Adnan Sami, expressed deep grief over the loss of the young officer.

In an emotional post on X, Kamal Haasan wrote, “Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who gave his life while showcasing the pride of our Indian Air Force, the Tejas.”

Sonu Sood also offered condolences, calling Syal “a true hero who served the nation with unmatched courage.” Singer Adnan Sami described the incident as heartbreaking and prayed for strength for the bereaved family.

The Indian Air Force is conducting an inquiry into the cause of the accident. Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in for the brave pilot whose dedication and service symbolized the spirit of the nation.
