ACME Solar Commissions 28 MW First Phase of 100 MW Wind Project in Gujarat

Renewable energy firm ACME Solar Holdings on Saturday announced the commissioning of the first 28 MW phase of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat.

In a statement, the company said the project — named ACME Eco Clean Wind Project — is located in Surendranagar district of Gujarat. With the commissioning of this phase, ACME Solar’s total operational capacity has increased from 2,890 MW to 2,918 MW.

The company said the project marks another step toward strengthening its renewable energy portfolio and contributing to India’s clean energy transition goals.

The remaining capacity of the wind project is expected to be commissioned in phases over the coming months.
