Two Brothers Killed After Being Hit by Passenger Train in Rourkela

In a tragic incident, two teenage brothers lost their lives after being hit by a passenger train near Basanti Colony in Odisha’s Rourkela early Wednesday morning, police said.

The accident occurred around 2.30 am when the boys, identified as Ranjan Patra (17) and Debendra Patra (15), were attempting to cross the railway track.

Local police reached the spot soon after the incident and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The sudden deaths have left the area in shock and grief.
