Yogi Adityanath Declares ‘Krishnavataram’ Tax-Free in Uttar Pradesh
Yogi Adityanath on Sunday announced that the film Krishnavataram has been made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh after attending a special screening of the movie at the Lok Bhavan auditorium in Lucknow.
According to an official statement, the screening was organised following the expansion of the Uttar Pradesh cabinet and was attended by several prominent leaders and dignitaries. Among those present were Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, cabinet ministers, BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary and other public representatives.
The atmosphere at the auditorium turned devotional during the screening, with chants of “Krishna-Krishna” and “Radhe-Radhe” echoing through the venue.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also congratulated the artistes and members associated with the film during the event. The decision to grant tax-free status is expected to encourage more viewers to watch the devotional film across the state.
