Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates 1st Hockey India Junior Men Inter-Zone Championship 2024
Lucknow, 1st September 2024: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his robust support for hockey by inaugurating the 1st Hockey India Junior Men Inter-Zone Championship 2024 on Sunday. The prestigious event kicked off at the Padma Shri Mohammad Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium in Lucknow.
During the inaugural ceremony, Chief Minister Adityanath interacted with the young hockey players, offering words of encouragement and inspiration. His presence underscored the government’s commitment to promoting and supporting the sport at the grassroots level.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures from Hockey India, including Dr. Dilip Tirkey, President; Shri Bhola Nath Singh, Secretary General; and Sekar J Manoharan, Treasurer.
