Odisha CM urges respect integrity employees

Odisha CM Urges Ethical Conduct Among Employees

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday advised government employees to maintain proper conduct with women and avoid corrupt practices while performing their duties.

The Chief Minister made the remarks while distributing appointment letters to 4,623 newly recruited candidates at a ‘Nijukti Mela’ held at the Kalinga Stadium.

Addressing the gathering, Majhi shared key suggestions for both new recruits and existing government staff, stressing the importance of respectful behaviour towards women in public interactions as well as within the workplace. “They must behave properly with women while dealing with the public and remain polite to women colleagues to uphold their own dignity,” he said.

He also urged employees to maintain integrity and steer clear of corrupt practices, underlining the need for transparency and accountability in public service.

The initiative is part of the state government’s broader effort to promote ethical governance and improve public service delivery standards.
