World T20: ICC Clears Visas for England’s Pakistan-Origin Players, Others Soon
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has intervened to facilitate visa clearances for all 42 players and officials of Pakistani origin participating in the T20 World Cup in India.
In the England squad, players of Pakistani descent who have received their visas include spinners Adil Rashid, Rehan Ahmed, and pacer Saqiib Mahmood. Officials confirmed that visas for players from other teams are expected to be processed soon.
The USA team will feature Ali Khan and Shayan Jahangir, while the Netherlands squad includes Zulfiqar Saqib among its members. The ICC’s intervention ensures that all eligible players can participate in the tournament without administrative delays, reflecting the global diversity of cricket talent.
