Dilip Vengsarkar, Diana Edulji Appointed as Cricket Advisors to Mumbai Cricket Association

Former India cricketers Dilip Vengsarkar and Diana Edulji have been appointed as cricket advisors to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), the apex council announced on Monday.

The appointments were made during the council’s meeting held earlier in the day, aimed at strengthening the cricketing framework and expertise within the association.

In addition to the new advisory roles, the MCA also reappointed the existing members of its Cricket Improvement Committee (CIC), which is headed by ex-Mumbai pacer Raju Kulkarni. Other members of the CIC include former Mumbai batter Sahil Kukreja and former India women’s cricketer Preeti Dimri.

The inclusion of seasoned professionals like Vengsarkar and Edulji is expected to bring valuable insight and experience to Mumbai cricket’s development pipeline, from grassroots to elite levels.
