Threaded Realities II Celebrates Musical Storytelling

‘Threaded Realities II’ Returns to Celebrate Storytelling Through Music

Threaded Realities II, a unique music and storytelling experience curated by W.I.P Labs, is set to return on August 2, offering audiences a weekend-long celebration of narrative and sound.

According to organizers, the event aims “to gather around the enduring warmth of stories” and serve as “a tribute to the human impulse to remember, resist, dream, and make meaning through narrative.” The programme is designed to bring together artists and audiences in a shared exploration of cultural memory and creativity.

The opening day will feature two performances produced by Amarrrass Records, a renowned independent label known for championing traditional and folk music. Headlining the event will be “Karigari re Kalyug!”, a powerful musical storytelling performance by Jumme Khan and Group. Drawing from Mewat’s deep cultural and political history, the act blends music and oral traditions to reflect on contemporary realities.

Threaded Realities II promises to be an immersive space where narrative art forms and musical traditions intertwine, inviting reflection, connection, and creative exploration. The event will continue through the weekend, featuring more performances and interactive sessions curated to engage both heart and mind.
