HUL Q1 Profit Rises 6 Percent

HUL Q1 Profit Rises 6% to ₹2,768 Crore, Sales Up 5%
FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) reported a 5.97% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹2,768 crore for the April-June quarter of FY26, boosted in part by tax re-estimations from the previous year.
In a regulatory filing on Thursday, HUL said it had posted a net profit of ₹2,612 crore in the same quarter last year. The company, known for household brands like Dove, Lifebuoy, Lux, Lakmé, and Sunsilk, also reported a 5.15% growth in revenue from product sales, which stood at ₹16,296 crore for the quarter, compared to ₹15,497 crore in Q1 of FY25.
The sales growth was primarily driven by volume expansion, reflecting steady consumer demand despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.
HUL’s performance this quarter signals resilience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, with strong brand equity and diversified product portfolios helping it weather fluctuations in market sentiment.
