Tanishq Partners with GSI to Train Retail and Corporate Teams in Gemological Expertise
Tata Group’s jewellery brand Tanishq has announced a strategic partnership with Gemological Science International (GSI) to provide specialised gemological sales training to its retail and corporate teams across India.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Tanishq’s workforce with deep knowledge of diamonds and gemstones, enhancing their product understanding and customer engagement capabilities.
“GSI’s diamond and gemstone certification programmes have equipped our frontline teams at Tanishq and Mia with deep product knowledge and confidence,” said Hemang Nensee, Lead – Retail Capability Jewellery at Tanishq, in an official statement.
He added that the partnership has enabled the teams to craft compelling in-store narratives and customer education tools, thereby offering a jewellery experience that reflects authenticity, expertise, and care.
The ongoing collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building well-informed teams and confident consumers, positioning Tanishq to further elevate its retail experience and customer trust in the competitive jewellery market.
