Woman Leads the Way: Swetashree Mohapatra Tops Odisha Civil Service Exam

Cuttack, October 19, 2024 — Swetashree Mohapatra has emerged as the topper of the Odisha Civil Service Examination 2022, the results of which were announced by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Saturday. Among the top 10 candidates, five were women, showcasing a strong presence of female candidates in the prestigious examination.

A total of 683 candidates successfully cleared the exam, with 258 of them being women. The Odisha Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages: preliminary examination, main examination, and a final personality test.

This year’s results highlight the growing participation and success of women in civil services, further encouraging young aspirants across the state.
