Shraddha Kapoor Credits ‘Stree 2’ Success to Team Effort

New Delhi, October 19, 2024 — Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor attributed the success of her latest film Stree 2 to the “fabulous team” behind the movie. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy sequel to the 2019 hit Stree has become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time at the domestic box office, surpassing Rs 600 crore in collections.

Speaking at an event marking the relaunch of the iconic magazine Screen on Friday, Kapoor described the film as a “pure cinematic joy.” She praised the collaborative efforts of the entire crew and her co-stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.

While celebrating the film’s success, Kapoor expressed confidence in her career, stating that “the best is yet to come.”
