Sonu Sood Donates ₹22 Lakh to Cow Shelter in Gujarat

Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has extended financial support of ₹22 lakh to a cow shelter in Varahi, Gujarat, which is home to nearly 7,000 cows.

According to a press release, the shelter provides care, protection and dignity to abandoned, injured and rescued cattle. Operating on a large scale, the facility requires sustained resources to ensure proper food, medical care and shelter for the animals.

Expressing his support, Sonu Sood said it was a matter of pride to see the shelter’s journey from caring for just a few cows to now nurturing nearly 7,000. He added that the initiative reflects the collective responsibility of communities and villages towards the welfare of animals.

The contribution is expected to strengthen the shelter’s efforts in providing continued care and improving facilities for the cattle.
