Pride in Hindu Identity Essential for Building Ram Rajya, Says Sarbananda Sonowal

Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal emphasized the importance of pride in Hindu identity and spiritual consciousness in building a true ‘Ram Rajya’ during his visit to Tinsukia, Assam. Speaking at the Tinsukia branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Sonowal highlighted that Hindu civilisation offers timeless guidance rooted in humanity, tolerance, and service.

The Minister inaugurated newly constructed temples dedicated to Guru, Lord Shiva, and Lord Krishna, along with a hostel facility at the Sangha’s ashram. Addressing monks, devotees, and youth, Sonowal said, “Every Hindu has a duty toward the nation, nature, and humanity. Using this consciousness responsibly, we can contribute to building a true Ram Rajya and practice Rashtra Dharma.”

Sonowal lauded Bharat Sevashram Sangha for its consistent efforts in promoting spiritual, moral, and humanitarian values and inspiring younger generations.
