SAIL Reports Strong Sales Growth April–November 2025
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) recorded robust sales growth in November 2025 and for the cumulative period from April to November 2025, driven by strong demand across multiple product categories and distribution channels.
In November 2025, SAIL achieved 27% growth in sales compared to the same month last year. Retail sales surged by 69% to 0.14 million tonnes (MT) from 0.084 MT in November 2024, supported by domestic saleable steel, road dispatches, and door deliveries from warehouses. Notably, SAIL emerged as the highest seller of TMT bars in the country during the month.
Building on this momentum, cumulative sales during April–November 2025 reached 12.7 MT, reflecting a 14% growth over 11.1 MT in the same period last year. Retail channel sales also performed strongly, registering 0.97 MT, up 13% from 0.86 MT in the corresponding period.
SAIL attributed this performance to a strong sales strategy, persistent market efforts, and nationwide brand promotion campaigns, despite global price pressures, demand volatility, and uncertainties arising from trade policies and geopolitical tensions.
The company’s results highlight its market leadership, customer-centric approach, and operational excellence, underscoring its commitment to further growth and excellence in the future.
