Sir David Attenborough’s Wildlife Series ‘Asia’ to Stream on BBC Player in India from July 18
The highly anticipated wildlife documentary series Asia, presented by the legendary Sir David Attenborough, is set to premiere in India on July 18 via BBC Player. The series, filmed over four years, explores the rich biodiversity, dramatic landscapes, and extraordinary wildlife of the Asian continent.
In addition to BBC Player, Asia will also be available to Indian audiences on Tata Play Binge and with an ad-supported subscription on Prime Video India, according to a press release from the broadcaster.
The seven-part series offers viewers a rare and intimate look at Asia’s most iconic and remote natural habitats. Notably, the show features captivating sequences from India, including the story of majestic elephants living in the high-altitude tea plantations — a testament to the subcontinent’s unique ecological diversity.
Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, known for his globally acclaimed nature documentaries, Asia aims to bring to light the fascinating, and often untold, stories of the continent’s wildlife, many of which are under threat from climate change and human activity.
