Makers unveil first look poster of Siddhant Chaturvedi’s ‘V Shantaram’

The makers of V Shantaram on Monday released the much-anticipated first look poster of the biographical drama, showcasing Siddhant Chaturvedi in the titular role of legendary filmmaker V Shantaram, celebrated as the “original rebel” of Indian cinema.

Written and directed by Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande, the film chronicles Shantaram’s extraordinary journey across eras of filmmaking — from silent cinema to the introduction of sound and eventually colour — capturing how he rose to become one of the most influential auteurs in Indian film history.

According to the makers, the poster aims to offer a powerful glimpse into the filmmaker’s artistic spirit and pioneering vision. The film is presented by Rajkamal Entertainment, Camera Take Films and Roaring Rivers Productions, and produced by Rahul Kiran Shantaram, Subhash Kale and Sarita Ashwin Varde.
